Thrift Shopping

Thrift shopping is my only hobby. Thrift stores is obviously not everyone’s style. However, there is many types of clothes, so people will probably like at least one item there. Thrift stores are convenient. Also, people do not have all types of debt to get one shirt.

My sister is extremely girly, so while she is at all the boutiques, find me at Salvation Army. She will spend one hundred dollars or more on one outfit. Meanwhile, I can get 10 items for $30. Everyone has their own style, but thrift stores has plenty of variety. That is considering it is clothes from a diverse group of people.

“I love shopping at thrift stores. The clothes are vintage and different from everyone else’s clothes. It is also cheap, so it’s a win-win situation,” Paige Giddens, sophomore.

Ultimately, I get and have more clothes than my sister. One shirt of hers is equal to five of mine. It is just a much better way to spend one’s money. Spending $40 for a shirt that costs $10 to make is absurd. The more I think about it, the more advantages I find in thrift shopping.
